What does the creative process sound like? This interactive session from Access Contemporary Music’s Concept Lab—an exploratory music series featuring works-in-progress in all stages of completion—features three composers who will test ideas and hear their not-yet-finished pieces in workshop. Listen as musicians work with the creators in real time, offering feedback and ideas for play.
This session is presented in partnership with Boulanger Initiative, which advocates for women and gender-marginalized composers. Following the conference session, the participating composers will have the opportunity to debut their finished pieces (workshopped here) at Boulanger Initiative’s annual festival, WoCo Fest.
